REFUND POLICY

MS Department Store is committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, and exchanges are accepted.


1. General Policy

Refunds and exchanges are subject to the terms outlined below and must comply with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.

All prices and refunds are processed in OMR (Omani Rial).


2. Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund:

  • The item must be returned within 7 days from the date of purchase.

  • The original receipt or proof of purchase must be presented.

  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

  • All tags, labels, and accessories must be included.

MS Department Store reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund.


3. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds unless they are defective:

  • Perishable goods (including food items)

  • Undergarments

  • Opened cosmetics or personal care products

  • Clearance or discounted items marked “Final Sale”

  • Customized or special-order items

  • Gift cards or vouchers


4. Defective or Damaged Products

If a product is found to be defective or damaged:

  • The issue must be reported within 48 hours of purchase (for in-store) or delivery (for online orders).

  • The item may be eligible for replacement, repair, or refund after inspection.

Manufacturer warranty conditions may apply to certain products such as electronics.


5. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

  • Cash payments may be refunded in cash.

  • Card payments will be refunded to the same card used for purchase.

  • Processing time for card refunds may vary depending on the bank.


6. Exchanges

Items may be exchanged for:

  • A product of equal value

  • A product of higher value (with the customer paying the difference)

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.


7. Online Orders (If Applicable)

For online purchases:

  • Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

  • Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.


8. Right to Refuse Refund

MS Department Store reserves the right to refuse a refund if:

  • The item does not meet return conditions.

  • The product shows signs of use or damage caused by the customer.

  • The return request is made outside the specified time period.


9. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Oman.
